China-Laos International Freight Trains (Chongqing-Vientiane) under Normal Bi-directionally Operatio

On the morning of January 17th, a train, fully loaded with motorcycle parts “Made in China”，departed from Chongqing Terminal to Vientiane of Laos, contributing to exporting of Chinese products via China-Laos International Freight Trains.
This is the first freight train exporting motorcycles from China to Laos which was jointly developed by New Land-Sea Corridor Operation Co. LTD. and Laos-China Motorcycle Association. China-Laos Railway was the important infrastructure which served and integrated into the “Belt and Road” construction and promoted connectivity between China and neighboring countries. The cross-border transportation of China-Laos international freight trains, with all-weather, rapid and direct access with low costs qualities，are privileged in terms of both safety and costs over the original cross-boundary road transportation.
Since the first China-Laos freight train departed from Chongqing and Chengdu Terminal on 4th of December, 2021, the China-Laos freight train in Chongqing Terminal have realized weekly normal operation in bi-directional ways, thanks to the marketing efforts of the platform companies.
